HVAC Technician

Oct 6, 2026

BHC Power Inc. is hiring a HVAC Technician. We're an established Ottawa-based standby generator company — an authorized Generac and Kohler dealer — serving residential, commercial, and industrial clients across the Ottawa-Gatineau region. If you like diagnostics, working with your hands, and being trusted to get the job done right, let's talk.

What you'll do

• Install, service, maintain, and repair, heating and air conditioning systems, and standby generators (Generac, Kohler, and others)

• Run diagnostics, load tests, and scheduled maintenance

• Troubleshoot electrical and small-engine issues in the field

• Deal directly with customers professionally and represent BHC Power well

Who we're looking for

• A hands-on mechanical or electrical background — generator experience is a bonus, but we'll train the right person

• Great fit for: ex-military generator or electrical technicians, licensed electricians, HVAC techs, and small-engine, marine, or heavy-equipment mechanics

• Valid driver's licence and a clean abstract

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada — this is a local, in-person role with no relocation sponsorship

• Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field

What we offer

• Competitive pay based on experience

• Factory training on Generac and Kohler equipment

• Steady, year-round work with a growing, established company

• A real team that looks after its people

• Excellent benefits package.
